Supporter terms
Version of 18-10-2026
1. Who we are
Dishlumo is a recipe website at dishlumo.nl and dishlumo.com.
Trade name: Dishlumo
Address: Eemshof 146, 6826 AS Arnhem, the Netherlands
Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 96850264
VAT number: NL005234280B88
Email: support@dishlumo.com
These terms apply to every supporter subscription you take out with us. Our general terms and our privacy statement also apply to your use of the website and your free account.
2. What a supporter subscription is
A supporter subscription lets you support Dishlumo with a fixed amount per month or per year. It is an ongoing service you pay for until you cancel, not a one-off donation. You need a free Dishlumo account with a confirmed email address. That account stays, even when your subscription ends.
3. The tiers and what you get
Tier
Per month
Per year
Dishlumo Star
€1.49
€14.90
Dishlumo Kitchen
€2.99
€29.90
Dishlumo Lumo
€4.99
€49.90
All prices include VAT. With a yearly subscription the yearly amount is charged in one go.
As long as you are a supporter, you get:
No ads on the website. If we show ads in the future, you won't see them and we won't load ad scripts for you.
Unlimited saved recipes. A free account can save 25 recipes.
Collections to organise your saved recipes: Star 3, Kitchen and Lumo unlimited. A free account has 1.
A supporter badge next to your name in reviews. You can turn the badge off in your account.
The higher the tier, the more you support Dishlumo. We may link features we add later to a tier. We won't take away what you get now during a running term.
4. Subscribing and paying
You choose a tier and a term on the supporter page and accept these terms.
You authorise us to charge the amount automatically every month or every year until you cancel.
You pay the first time through our payment partner Mollie B.V. That first payment sets up a mandate for the next charges.
Your subscription starts as soon as Mollie confirms the successful payment to us.
After that we charge automatically every term, on the same day of the month or on the same date each year. If you start on the 29th, 30th or 31st, the charge day can move to an earlier day in a shorter month. It then stays on that earlier day.
For a yearly subscription we send you a reminder with the amount and date about 30 days before the renewal.
Dishlumo does not see or store any bank or card details. Mollie handles those. Your account shows your current plan, the next charge and your payments. We don't send PDF invoices. If you need proof of payment, email support@dishlumo.com.
5. Immediate start and right of withdrawal
Your subscription starts immediately after your first payment, because you explicitly ask for that when you subscribe.
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The period starts on the day of your first payment and ends at the end of the 14th day after it. You withdraw yourself in your account (Account → Supporter subscription → Withdraw) or by email to support@dishlumo.com.
If you withdraw:
your subscription stops immediately and your supporter benefits end;
we refund the part you have not used yet. We count in whole days, including the day of your first payment, and round in your favour;
you receive the amount within 14 days on the account or card you paid with.
The right of withdrawal applies when you take out a new subscription, not to an automatic renewal.
6. Cancelling
You can always cancel, online in your account (Account → Supporter subscription → Cancel subscription). No phone call or email needed. You'll get an email confirmation.
Monthly subscription: no new charge follows. You keep your benefits until the end of the term you have already paid for.
Yearly subscription in the first year: no new charge follows. You keep your benefits until the end of the paid year.
Yearly subscription after an automatic renewal: your subscription ends within a month at the latest, on the next monthly date of your term. We automatically refund the remaining whole months of that yearly term, rounded in your favour. When you cancel, you see the end date and the amount up front.
While your cancelled subscription is still running and nothing was refunded when you cancelled, you can undo the cancellation with Keep my subscription. Your subscription then simply continues, at no extra cost. That is no longer possible on the day of the next charge itself. You can always subscribe again afterwards.
7. If a payment fails
If an automatic charge fails, you get an email and keep your benefits for 5 more days. If the payment doesn't come through after that, we end the subscription and cancel it with Mollie as well. You don't need to pay anything retroactively. You can always take out a new subscription.
If you reverse a payment through your bank or card company (a chargeback), your subscription stops immediately.
8. After your subscription ends
After your subscription ends, you have a free account again. Your saved recipes and collections stay, we don't delete anything. If you are above the free limits (25 saved recipes, 1 collection), you can still view, use and remove everything, but you can't add anything new until you are below the limit again.
9. Changing tier or term
Switching tier, or switching from monthly to yearly (or the other way round) during a term, is not possible yet. If you want to switch, cancel and take out a new subscription after the end.
10. Price changes
A new price only applies to new subscriptions. A running subscription keeps the price you saw when you subscribed. If we ever change the price of running subscriptions, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance and you may cancel free of charge before the new price applies.
11. Your account, misuse and deletion
Deleting your account: if you delete your account while your subscription is running, the subscription stops immediately and we cancel it with Mollie. If you are still within the withdrawal period, or a yearly subscription is running after a renewal, we refund according to §5 and §6. We then delete your account.
Retention obligation: we must keep financial records of your payments for 7 years. After your account is deleted, those records are no longer linked to you.
Misuse: if we block your account for misuse of the website, we cancel your subscription as of the end of the paid term.
12. Privacy
To set up and run your subscription, we share your name and email address with Mollie B.V. Mollie processes your payment. We only keep Mollie's references, the amounts and the status of your payments, never your bank or card details. Read more in our privacy statement.
13. Complaints, liability and disputes
If you have a question or complaint about your subscription, email support@dishlumo.com. We reply within 14 days.
We do our best to keep the website and the supporter benefits working well, but we can't guarantee the website is always available without interruptions. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the past 12 months, except in case of intent or gross negligence.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live as a consumer in another EU country, you keep the protection your own country's law gives you. We submit a dispute to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law gives you the right to submit it in your own country.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We'll tell you about a change that is unfavourable to you at least 30 days in advance by email, and you may then cancel free of charge. When you subscribe, we record which version of these terms you accepted.
